CIVIL WAR TROOPER'S SWORD 06-805
This Civil War / Cavalry sword features a wood grip with inset brass braid brass hilt, 3-bar swept brass handle, 34" curved carbon steel blade and polished steel scabbard. Measures at an overall length of 42". Ideal for display, reenactment or theatrical use. Produced similar to the original, they have an appearance of a time-worn antique. They are difficult to distinguish from the expensive genuine articles. This sword has a carbon steel blade and can be sharpened.

During the American Civil War, swords were still the most widely used edged weapon on the battlefields. There were a variety of models issued to the troops, and this one was the model issued to experienced Cavalry men on both the Union and Confederate sides. This replica is display quality, and perfect for re-enactment use.
