The MALATESTA SWORD (CF407) Valiant Armoury
The Signature Malatesta Sword features a sharpened 33" long 1060 carbon steel blade with central fuller. Blade width at guard measures 1 1/4" and 15/16" wide at tip. The guard and pommel are made of solid steel and the grip is wood with a oxblood leather wrap. The handle measures 6 13/16" in length and the guard measures 8 1/4" across. Weighs in at 2lbs 10 oz with a point of balance at 4 1/8". Includes a premium wood scabbard with oxblood leather wrap, raised designs, steel tip and an included sword belt. Note: As these are hand forged pieces, specs can vary with each piece.

The Valiant Armoury Malatesta Sword is based on a design by noted sword smiths Angus Trim & Christian Fletcher. Valiant has taken some of these custom pieces and reproduced them in their factory to offer these great swords at a more affordable price. Special Note: A Signature Sword is a close representation of a Christian Fletcher original work of art built on a Gus Trim blade. Gus Trim is known throughout the Custom sword world as having some of the greatest skill and knowledge in sword metallurgy and craftsmanship. Christian Fletcher is a Master Cutler. He builds his works on blades from a few sources but uses Gus Trim blades exclusively for the original designs he creates for our "Signature Edition" swords.
