ETCHED CUIRASS ARMOURAH3887EBy DEEPEEKA By the end of the Middle Ages, armor had reached its peak. It was not uncommon to see foot soldiers that were as heavily protected as knights and nobles. Yet the noblemen always stood out, thanks to armor like this Nobleman's Etched Cuirass. This armor is quite distinctive in its look, possessing the same level of protection that a simpler foot soldier's cuirass might have offered, in a more decorated package. This cuirass is fabricated in 18ga. steel and is decorated with a beautifully etched royal Lion crest in ivy scrollwork. The breastplate and backplate are joined by adjustable leather straps to fit a range of torso sizes. Our replica is fully wearable to be used for LARP or medieval battle reenactments, and can also be put on beautiful display when not in use. Add one of our chain mail shirts, a helmet and a sword and you are ready to storm some castles or be worshiped as mighty King!! Please Note: Steel Armour comes lightly coated in oil for protection from rust and may be cleaned and oiled occasionally as necessary maintenance procedure for the life of the product.
