Sword of William Wallace Braveheart M-590
According to the respected historian, Sir Arthur Bryant, Wallace was a genius of military strategy. His invention of the schiltron made it possible for the first time ever for a heavily armoured cavalry charge to be defeated by infantry at the Battle of Stirling.

Wallace is also remarkable for being the first of a new generation of commoner-heroes who arose in Europe to overthrow the feudal system. Following his execution in 1305, his fame spread across the continent, inspiring others to rise up against their oppressors. William Tell was one of them.

This exquisite sword is made by traditional methods by Marto in TOLEDO SPAIN. For several centuries now, Toledo has been known for its high quality sword manufacturing facilities. This sword features top-quality high polished 440-C stainless steel blade. 52" overall. (Made in Toledo Spain) This massive double-handed sword, almost four and a half feet long, has a leather-covered grip and extended leather-covered ricasso to provide the leverage necessary to wield the weapon at close quarters. A must for those who trace their ancestry to the highlands!
