REPLICA 1881 OLD WEST STREET HOWITZER 22-1114 by DENIX This cut-down version of the famous Coach Gun was a favorite among barkeeps throughout the Wild West. It was also known as a "Street Howitzer". Doc Holiday is known to have carried a similar weapon to the gunfight at the OK Corral. This cut-down version of the Stagecoach Shotgun was also popular among Marshals and Sheriffs throughout the frontier for their mobility and lenient accuracy at close quarters. Our Denix Model 1114 features break open barrels and functioning double hammer and trigger action. Close and lock the barrels and cock both hammers. Finger the double triggers one at a time and the hammers will fall. This model is also available in our custom game holder framesets!
Like Marston's, this massive hand-held shotgun is based upon the cut-down version of the full stock double barrel shotgun or better known as the Coach Gun. With the exception of the hammers not being exposed in the Redemption version, the hand-held size, double barrels, wood butt and forestock of this cut-down version of the full stock shotgun, in our opinion makes its likeness a real-life "Dead On" ringer to Marston's.
