VIKING NORSE GOD LOKI STATUE 9155 by PACIFIC GIFTWARE
Loki is the son of giants and foster brother of Óðin. He is a trickster, a shape-changer, and the master of lies and deceit. For the crime of causing the death of Baldr, wisest of the gods, Loki remains bound in a cave until Ragnarök, when he will lead the monsters and the giants into battle against the gods. Trodding the bones of battles past, this statue seems to capture a pivital moment after Loki's escape; plotting the beginnings of the last battle of gods and man. Loki is dressed in full battle gear with a trident spear (removable) at his side and cape flowing. This statue is 14 inches tall and made with quality cold-cast resin. Although at times Loki may seem quite harsh, he also has a softer side. His base is equipped with a soft felt bottom to protect any surface upon which he may prowl. |

LOKI
"...There is also Loki, the trickster god some call him. Loki, the god who can take many shapes. The god who fathered the Jörmungandr god the Serpect, and Fenrir the Wolf to bring chaos. It is he who will bring about the end of the world; Ragnarök. When Ragnarök arrives, Loki will pit the giants against the Lords of Asgard. Odin will fall to the wolf Fenrir, Thor will fall to the serpent Jörmungandr; evil will prevail and the world will end to start anew. This is the fate Odin has foreseen and neither God nor man can escape it. This is the world of men and gods. This is what lies beyond the impossible seas".
