Ornately detailed, semi-basket brass guard, marked "US", the Civil War sword features heavily engraved slightly curved 34" carbon steel blade, complete with brass mounted steel scabbard. The Sword measure 40 inches overall. Produced similar to the original, they have an appearance of a time-worn antique and are difficult to distinguish from the expensive genuine articles. This sword has a carbon steel blade, rat-tail tang, and can be sharpened to meet your personal preferences and use.
