By the end of the Middle Ages, armor had reached its peak. It was not uncommon to see foot soldiers that were as heavily protected as knights and nobles. Yet the noblemen always stood out, thanks to armor like this Nobleman's 15th Century Cuirass. This armor is quite distinctive in its look, possessing the same level of protection that a simpler foot soldier's cuirass might have offered, in a more decorated package. This late-15th century-style cuirass is fabricated in 16ga. steel and is decorated in the fashion of noblemen of the period. The breastplate and backplate are joined by adjustable leather straps to fit a range of torso sizes and the breastplate features an integral plackart and fauld. Breastplate and backplate both measure 24" across
