TEUTONIC KNIGHT CRUSADER DAGGER IP-103A Legacy Arms
The Legacy Arms Teutonic Knight Crusader Dagger is a matching companion to the larger Teutonic Knight Crusader Sword. With the same materials, forging to finish, this dagger has the toughness of its larger companion making it essentially a smaller sword!
Just like the Sword,
the dagger blade is of 5160 high carbon steel that has been hand forged and hand tempered. The cross guard and pommel are of solid steel and the dual-edge sharpened steel blade is constructed with a strong full length tang that is peened onto the pommel. The blade is equipped with a long fuller that runs about two thirds of its length, providing quickness and balance while maintaining robust strength for devastating hacking and cutting strokes. Nearly a short sword in size, these daggers were a very capable battlefield weapon well able to deliver vicious puncture wounds or a razing slash, or for administering the fateful coup de grâce death blow to an adversary in the ebb of battle.
The handle is hard-wood wrapped in leather. The Legacy Arms Teutonic Knight Crusader Dagger IP-103A includes a wood scabbard with black leather wrap and form fitting steel locket and chape. The matching Teutonic Knight Crusader Sword (IP-003A) is also available and sold separately.

Symbol of The Teutonic Order
The Black Cross has been the symbol of the Teutonic Order from the 12th century to present. It is the predecessor to the Iron Cross that originated in 1219 when the Kingdom of Jerusalem granted the Teutonic Order the right to combine the Teutonic Black Cross placed above a silver Cross of Jerusalem.
This Crusader Dagger's design maintains this historic theme, combining a counter-relief black cross within a "faceted wheel" steel pommel placed directly above a silver cruciform shaped crossguard.
