BROOKHART TEMPLAR DAGGER IP-612 Legacy Arms
Designed by Bruce Brookhart, this Legacy Arms Templar Dagger is a matching companion to the larger Brookhart Templar Sword. With the same materials, forging to finish, this dagger has the toughness of its larger companion making it essentially a smaller sword!
Just like the Sword,
the dagger blade is of 5160 high carbon spring steel that has been hand forged and hand tempered. The cross guard and pommel are of solid steel and the dual-edge sharpened steel blade is constructed with a strong full length tang that is peened onto the pommel.
The solid steel cruciform guard sweeps forward and is met by a contoured hard-wood handle that is wrapped tightly in black leather. The round wheel pommel has been emblazoned with an enamel red Cross Pattée of the Templar Order in counter-relief on both sides.
Nearly a short sword in size, these daggers were a very capable battlefield weapon well able to deliver vicious puncture wounds or a razing slash, or to administer a fateful coup de grâce death blow to an adversary at the ebb of battle.
The Legacy Arms Brookhart Templar Dagger IP-612 includes a wood scabbard wrapped in brown leather with brass chape accent. The matching Brookhart Templar Sword (IP-602) is also available and sold separately.
