BROOKHART HOSPITALLER DAGGER IP-613 Legacy Arms
Designed by Bruce Brookhart, this Legacy Arms Hospitaller Dagger is a matching companion to the larger Brookhart Hospitaller Sword. With the same materials, forging to finish, this dagger has the toughness of its larger companion making it essentially a smaller sword!
Just like the Sword,
the sharpened double edge dagger blade is of 5160 high carbon spring steel that has been hand forged and hand tempered. The cross guard and pommel are of solid steel and the dual-edge 13 inch steel blade is constructed with a strong full length tang that is securely peened onto the pommel.
The cross guard and pommel are of blackened steel and accommodates a hardwood handle wrapped in embossed textured black leather. The classic designs of the down-turned quillons of the guard and disc pommel are blackened in the same manner as the originals. The large wheel pommel features a thick encircled Cross in counter-relief on both sides.
The Legacy Arms Hospitaller Dagger IP-613 includes a wood scabbard wrapped in black leather decorated with a simple raised cross that is embossed into the leather. The scabbard is finished with a matching blackened polished metal chape. The matching Brookhart Hospitaller Sword (IP-603) is also available and sold separately.

The Knight Hospitallers are the third of the best know Monastic Orders that fought in the Holy Lands. The Cistercian order wore a Black Surcoat with a White Cross centered.
