MAA ARMING DAGGER 88ARDM Cold Steel
The Cold Steel Arming Dagger is an edition of the Cold Steel Man At Arms Collection (MAA) and is a matching companion dagger to the larger MAA Arming Sword. The sharpened and tempered blade is of 1090 high carbon steel with a deeply blued finish. The crossguard and pommel are steel and deeply blued to match the inky black finish of the blade. The grip is bound in stitched black leather. The sheath is constructed from black leather and fitted with a blued steel locket and chape.
Nearly a short sword in size, this sword-dagger is a capable battlefield weapon well able to deliver a vicious puncture wound or a razing slash, or for administering the fateful coup de grâce to the foe at the twilight of battle.
With the stout hard wood handle for a secure grip and the excellent materials sought after by professional men at arms through out Europe, this dagger is an outstanding close-quarters weapon. With the same materials, fittings and finish as its companion MAA Arming Sword, this dagger is essentially a smaller sword! An excellent companion blade or offhand parrying tool, it also makes an attractive stand-alone dagger that’s sure to turn heads when worn on your belt!
