12TH CENTURY CRUSADER DAGGER SB3962 GDFB
This dual-edged dagger is reproduced from a 12th Century English example which is now within the collection of the Museum of London. The blade is crafted from 1075 high carbon steel and is fully tempered. The thick, strong blade profile gives it great strength and minimizes flex - traits which make it ideal for imparting maximum puncturing power in a thrusting strike, while allowing quick slashing cuts in either direction.
The classic cruciform guard and pommel of this Crusader Dagger are of mild steel and the wooden grip is blackened. These no-nonsense daggers are sturdy, well built, yet not "too pretty" to abuse. You'll find great pride in every nick, scratch and scar of wear, knowing that each one was a lesson and a memory that's made you the master of your craft. A handmade stitched sheath of leather with a belt loop completes this dagger-and-sheath set.
Note: This Fine Quality Dagger has a blunt edge and is designed for both Stage Combat and Functional Use. The factory dulled carbon steel blade can be sharpened and made battle ready when desired.
