14TH CENTURY ENGLISH DAGGER SB3963 GDFB
This long-bladed dagger is based upon a 14th Century original which is kept within the collection of the Royal Armouries. The blade is crafted from 1075 high carbon steel and is fully tempered. The the rigid blade is ideal for delivering deeply piercing attacks into the weak points of an armored defense or through the thick fabric and cloaks of late Medieval attire.
The curved crossguard and pommel of mild steel are studded with decorative brass rivets; their curved shape coupled with the swollen grip combine to make a dagger that couches and secures the hand into position giving it a minimum of slip and movement when contact is made with the target. These no-nonsense daggers are sturdy, well built, yet not "too pretty" to abuse. You'll find great pride in every nick, scratch and scar of wear, knowing that each one was a lesson and a memory that's made you the master of your craft. A handmade stitched sheath of leather with a belt loop completes this dagger-and-sheath set.
Note: This Fine Quality Dagger has a blunt edge and is designed for both Stage Combat and Functional Use. The factory dulled carbon steel blade can be sharpened and made battle ready when desired.
