The Knights Templar were a powerful crusading order of knights founded in the 11th Century with many of their number recruited from England and France. There are many Templar castles and churches throughout England including the Temple Church in London, made famous in The Da Vinci Code. The supreme commander of the Templar Order was known as the Grand Master. Each country had its own Master who would report directly to the Grand Master. Grand Masters often led their knight into battle, the result of which led to some very short tenures! The Master of Templars Dagger is constructed in the world famous Art Gladius sword factory in Toledo, Spain. Toledo has a reputation for producing some of the finest swords in Europe and has been the centre of sword production for centuries.

The Masters of Templar Dagger (580) features a hexagonal pommel engraved with the "2 knights on 1 horse" seal of the order and is surrounded by the Latin/Greek text “Sigillum Militum Xpisti” translating as "The Seal of a Soldier of Christ". The leather wrapped grip features the black and white banner with cross pattée that is associated with the Templar Order. The hilt is brass plated and heavily decorated with Templar symbols.

The 11 inch blade is constructed in 440C stainless steel that is tempered to 45-50 HRC, and given a lustrous mirror polish. The Spanish steel blade is masterfully etched with the Saint George and the Dragon. This Masters of Templar Dagger edition comes with a highly decorated matching scabbard with brass plated metal throat and chape with enamel hand painted detailing. The dagger's dual-edge blade is dulled for safety and well suited for costume and beautiful display.
