Constructed of Cold Cast Stone Resin, this Stone Dragon Tomb Box has the "Weight" "Look" "Feel" and "Sound" of real sculpted Porous Stone. Perched on its lid and designed as the lid handle, this intricate box features a Guardian Dragon attentively resting on scrolling flora detailing. The outer perimeter of the box is of stone masonry adorned high relief sculpted heads of winged dragons on all sides. A plush black lining throughout the interior of the box, including the lid, provides an enchanted resting place for your favorite things. The base is covered in black velveteen to protect any display surface. The box measures approx 3-1/2" tall and 7" long weighing 1 lbs 14oz

THE MEDIEVAL DRAGON
Dragons came to be seen as symbolic for a connection to the natural world. In medieval symbolism, dragons were often symbolic of apostasy and treachery, but also served as symbols for independence, leadership, strength and protection.
