In an unexpected NobleWares Warehouse Inventory find, this VA018 Dagesse Sword and its companion dagger VA026 are now available as a one time offering! Original pieces of the Valiant Armoury line manufactured for Pro-Cut in the late 90's, this pair is in factory mint condition (still in their original oil and factory wrappings). We are offering these blades as a set giving you a great value for rare 1st generation Valiant Armoury blades that are now rare and built to last!
Italian in design, this 14th century cut & thrust sword is a tapered 26 -inch dual edge blade. The broad based blade measures 2 3/4 inches at the guard and tapers to a deadly razor sharp point. The blade comes moderately sharp yet can be finely sharpened depending on your needs and personal edge preferences. Balanced by a slight down curved solid steel guard and wheel pommel, the high carbon steel blade has a 3/8" fuller running 18 inches down its length which lightens the weight for quick precise cuts without sacrificing strength, control or durability.
With the stout hard wood handle for a secure grip and the excellent balance sought after by professional men at arms through out Europe, this sword is an outstanding close-quarters weapon. (Leather Scabbard Included)

Includes leather scabbard. Made by Valiant Armoury.
