OATHKEEPER SWORD VS0112 Valyrian Steel
One of the proudest families in Westeros, the Lannister's lacked a Valyrian Steel sword of their own until Tywin Lannister melted down the Stark family sword Ice to make two new blades (Oathkeeper and Widow's Wail). Though intended as a new sword for Jaime Lannister, he gifted Oathkeeper to Brienne to aid her efforts to find and protect Sansa Stark. Brienne is a highborn lady who would rather be a knight. As Catelyn Stark's envoy, she escorted Jaime back to Kings Landing. The two fighters developed a mutual respect for each other during their journey. She is given Oathkeeper by Jaime, thus the steel of the ancestral sword Ice finds itself in the service of House Stark once more.
Oathkeeper, crafted by Valyrian Steel, is a licensed Game of Thrones sword collectible that has been recreated from the actual prop used on HBO’s Game of Thrones. It has a blade of stainless steel and its intricate hilt is crafted from bronze plated cast metal bearing intertwined lions and finished with faux jewels. A faux jewel adorns the center of the guard on both sides. It comes with a wall hanging shield plaque bearing the heraldry of House Tarth - mounting hardware is included. The Oathkeeper Sword comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
