Prince Oberyn Martell, commonly referred to as the Red Viper of Dorne, was a member of House Martell, the ruling family of Dorne, the younger brother of Doran Martell and the late Elia Martell, the father of eight bastard girls known as the Sand Snakes, and the Member of the Small Council for Dorne to Tommen I. He is well known for his fighting skills, passionate temper, and sexual appetites. The spear is a Dornishman's most preferred choice of weapon. House Martell's sigil has a spear in it.

This Red Viper’s Spear is made from high quality stainless steel and cast metal handle parts. It was modeled directly on the actual screen used prop from the show, with accurately matched materials and dimensions. It is a limited edition of 2500 pieces.

The 26 inch stainless steel spear blade has a serpentine shape and is decorated with two brass serpents entwined circling around the shaft upwardly towards the spear point. A large ferrule at neck is wrapped in brown scaled leather straps creating a snake skin appearance. The straps are bound together to create a tassel that falls loosely around the spear's wooden shaft. The spear measures 79 inches overall. The Red Viper Spear includes a wooden vertical wall mount that is silkscreened with the Sunspear Sigil of House Martell. Mounting hardware included.
