Heros the sword of Hiro UC2558 by United Cutlery

The tale of this infamous sword dates all the way back to the year 1671 in ancient Japan. Takezo Kense a savage wild man found the sword frozen in the snow. Little did he know this sword was going to change his life and the destiny of his country forever. The sword gave Takezo extraordinary powers and the ability to focus all of his courage and strength in battle. What once was a savage wild rhon was now a master swordsman. Some say this sword and Takezo's power were a Godsend. In the episode "Godsend", the Helix symbol appears on the sword hilt, and Ando Masahashi remarks that it appears to be a combination of two Kanji characters: (Sai) meaning "Great Talent" and (Yo) meaning "Godsend".

During an interview at the Wizard World in los Angeles, writer and co-producer Aron Coleite stated that it literally means "God sending great ability."

According to the legend. war was threatening to conquer Japan and Tokezo knew in order to prevail he would need help. So, he went to the Dragon of Kiso Mountain and asked him to teach him the secrets of the sword. The Dragon agreed to teach Takezo but, in exchange Takezo would be required to give up all of his love. Takezo loved a beautiful princess with all of his heart, but he knew Japan would fall if he did not triumph. So, he agreed to the dragon's demands. The Dragon taught Takezo and soon he became Kensei {a sword saint).

Wielding his sword and his new found knowledge, Kensei fought and won a great battle thus saving Japan from destruction. After the battle ended, The Dragon of Kiso Mountain came to Kensei's palace to collect his payment and demanded the life of the princess. Kensei refused and in turn cut out his own heart, handed it to the dragon and said "My love is in here. Take it!" And then Kensei died. When the dragon saw that Kensei was willing to sacrifice his own life for his people (and his love) he was so moved that he replaced Kensei's heart and breathed fire-life back into the swordsman. The Takezo-dynasty then went on to rule Japan with valor and love for a century.

The powerful sword has now made it into the 20th Century. Hiro Nakamura, a 24 year old computer programmer now possesses the sword. He is a Hero and has the ability to time travel, freeze time, and teleport, just as Kensei did. Hiro uses the sword to focus all of his strength and power. Hiro is on a mission, along with his Hero companions, to save the world. The infamous sword he carries is the key to his victory.
