LEATHER BANDOLIER 04-400 Dead On
In the popular game Red Dead Redemption, Marston can buy a bandolier from any gunsmith or General Store clerk for around $125. Doing so allows Marston to carry twice as much rifle and repeater ammo. This real-life shoulder cartridge belt holds over 75 rifle or pistol shells, not included, and measures 3 inches wide by 61-1/2 inches long. It ties together at the shoulder with leather strapping. The bandolier was used to keep ammunition off a soldier's hips, as carrying too much weight on the hips could constrain movement and cause difficulty in retrieving the ammunition. |

In our opinion, the size, shape, and traditional leather materials of this Bandolier makes its likeness a real-life "Dead On" ringer to Marston's most practical and widely available ammo carrier. Like Marston's, this bandolier is historically based on cartridge belts worn by soldiers and bounty hunters during the 19th Century. Create a personal tribute by displaying on a wall hanger with a brass plate and personalized quote, or add this rare item to a John Marston Costume for your next great halloween party! |
