STAG HANDLE SCOTTISH SGIAN DUBH  (SHE018) by Sheffield Knives
This Sheffield Scottish Sgian Dubh features a genuine stag horn handle and measures 8 inches overall. The single edge 3 3/4" stainless steel dagger style blade is equipped with a deep fuller and a nice line of top serrations. The mirror polished blade is stamped with "J Nowill & Sons Sheffield". The stag horn handle has been cored and fitted with a polished steel pommel plate at its butt end, while a golden plate guard accents its hilt. This authentic styled Sgian Dubh comes with a black plastic hard composite sheath adorned with ornate nickel finished fittings. Made in England.

The stag horn handle is made from stag horn collected by gamekeepers from stags that shed their antlers annually. The horn is ground, sanded and polished before being fitted to a steel tang blade. No animals were harmed in the collection of the horn. |
