DAMASCENE SCOTTISH CLAYMORE LETTER OPENER (5504) by MARTO
Damascene is the art of decorating non precious metals with 24K yellow gold , 18K green gold (made by mixing gold with silver) or silver in decorative patterns. The Scottish claymore was the typical weapon of the Highland warriors during the late Middle Age. As a tribute to this grand weapon, Marto offers the Damascene Claymore Letter Opener in three glorious editions. Unique, meticulously detailed, and precious works of art, each miniature sword is manufactured in the famous Midas Factory by the Marto swordsmiths in Toledo, Spain. Peerless quality, these Damascene Claymore Letter Openers all feature Damascene hilts and blade etches that are plated in 24 Karat yellow gold and 18 Karat green gold, with a minimum thickness of 4 microns. Each Damascene Claymore comes in a printed cardboard gift sleeve that carries a description of the Claymore and Marto Official Seals. A Deluxe latched Marto Presentation Gift Case is also available and sold separately (see below).
