Capture the moment in old Scottish style with these awesome 5x7 inch rustic leather journals. Each journal cover is made of thick hand tooled genuine leather that has been given a dark mahogany brown finish. Laced stitching lines the cover's edge and a center circular weave secures a polished natural stone tear-drop making each product unique. This journal is equipped with a Swing Pin Latch that utilizes a hinged pin mechanism that is studded to a leather strap, that latches to a receiver pin and housing on the cover. That hinged pin can then swing horizontally into a holed receiver pin on the cover creating a locked connection.

Each journal is handmade and contains 120 pages of unlined khadda paper equating to 240 writing surfaces. Khadda paper is made from recycled cotton, is acid-free and is a beautiful paper on which to write or draw. Each writing surface measures approximately 5" wide by 6-3/4" long. When open and extended the leather cover measures 14 3/4 inches across and 7 inches high. The paper is bound to the cover in a beautiful dark cord cross stitch that can be seen on the outside cover spine. These leather covered pages make a great place to pen epic legends, scribe a travel journal, jot inspirations or make some simple notes, to-do's or reminders to help keep ya out of the dog house with the lass or lad.
