Made of 18 gauge steel this breast plate bears a large brass Templar cross riveted into the steel. Both breastplate and backplate are joined by adjustable leather straps to fit a range of torso sizes. Our replica is fully wearable to be used for LARP or medieval battle reenactments, and can also be put on beautiful display when not in use. Add one of our chain mail shirts, a helmet and a sword and you are ready to storm a castle or escort pilgrims to the Holy Land! Made by hammering and heating the Steel, the Knight's Armour and Sword were both powerful and unique works of art. Constructed by Craftsmen of the highest skill suits of armour were only afforded by the wealthy. The Working Class or Soldier for hire usually acquired their Armor on the battlefield from some unfortunate soul who had passed on in battle and who would not require it in the afterlife.
