SAXON PARRYING DAGGER SB3961 GDFB
The Saxon Parrying Dagger is a late 16th Century German Daggerfrom Saxony of the Holy Roman Empire. The blade is crafted from 1075 high carbon steel and is fully tempered to ~55 Hrc. the edges of the blade are blunted and the tip is rounded, making it suitable for stage and sport combat.
The stout crossguard with its distinctive hand protecting side-ring are of mild steel as is the scent stopper pommel. The side-ring allows the carrier to manuever and deflect or block an incoming attack. These no-nonsense daggers are sturdy, well built, yet not "too pretty" to abuse. You'll find great pride in every nick, scratch and scar of wear, knowing that each one was a lesson and a memory that's made you the master of your craft. A handmade stitched sheath of leather with a belt loop completes this dagger-and-sheath set.
Note: This Fine Quality Dagger has a blunt edge and is designed for both Stage Combat and Functional Use. The factory dulled carbon steel blade can be sharpened and made battle ready when desired.
