GEORGE WASHINGTON BARNWOOD FRAMESET 1228BW DENIX
The George Washington pistol barnwood frame set features a non-firing replica of George Washington's favorite Flintlock Pistol. Measuring 13 3/4" in length the pistol features moving frizzen, hammer and trigger. Rotate the frizzen, cock the hammer, and pull the trigger – the hammer falls just as it did for George Washington more than 250 years ago. This famous pistol bears his signatured nameplate on the grip and can be easily removed from the frame for closer inspection.

Attached to the burlap backed barnwood style wall frame, the gun rests on two spring loaded replica falcon hangers and set against a backdrop of a mounted parchment replica of the US Constitution which is loosely scrolled at the bottom end. An engraved plate attached to the lower right of the frame reads, "The Constitution is the guide which I never will abandon" with a reproductions of George Washington's signature. This set is a treasure for any Revolutionary War enthusiast, and makes an impressive and patriotic display in any home or office. |
