HAND AND A HALF DAGGER 88HNHD Cold Steel
The Cold Steel Dagger is a matching companion to the popular Cold Steel Hand and a Half Sword(88HNH). The sharpened and tempered dual edge blade is of 1060 high carbon steel and measures 13 inches in length.
Almost identical in appearance to the Sword, the Hand and a Half Dagger features a simple cruciform hilt, with straight cross guard, and a heavy counter-balancing scent stopper pommel. This hefty dagger measures 19 1/4 inches overall and weighs in at approximately 1lbs 2.2 oz. The grip is constructed with leather-over-wood and is bound with tight black stitching allowing comfortable and secure placement in the hand.
Nearly a short sword in size, this dagger is a very capable battlefield weapon well able to deliver vicious puncture wounds or a razing slash. An outstanding close-quarters weapon with excellent balance, blade strength, hilt materials and superb craftsmanship, this dagger would be a much sought after weapon by professional men at arms through out medieval Europe.
